About Us

The JJ Care Story

Hi there. I'm Jayden Johnston.

I established JJ Care Services in 2020 after working in many roles in personal care and coordination across a range of residential aged-care facilities and community care providers.

Having cared for my own grandmother through her dementia and palliative care journey at home, I have first-hand understanding of the importance of staying at home and the benefit from having the right support for peace of mind.

If it’s time for care, my team and I have created a home away from home at our beautiful Dianne House in Gymea Bay, for respite, short, medium and long term stays, in a caring, meaningful, family environment with professional clinical care.

Every day, I find real satisfaction in supporting my client’s independence and control over their lives, and I know our team feel the same. We focus on community, kindness and friendly, experienced care.

Our inspiration

Our inaugural supported home, Dianne House is named in memory of Dianne Vince. She was a talented and devoted educator and dear friend to Jayden. Jayden and Dianne mirrored each others’ fiery passion, and shared common interests in the social welfare, diversity and cultural realms.

In April 2022, Dianne sadly passed away after a short battle with cancer, supported by Jayden and the team at JJ Care.

Remembered for her radiance, generosity, and hospitality, Jayden leads his team with the values instilled in him by Dianne. So it was only fitting that our accomodation services be named in her honour.

Dianne House embodies Dianne, her spirit and her values.

Our home is a place of hospitality, love and belonging. We believe love is unlimited, differences are embraced and everyone is welcomed with a smile from a team devoted to providing the very best personal and clinical care to our residents and guests.
